How do I get troops?

I start with 0 troops and when i build troops it does nothing. Under my training it shows these strange pink smiley faces?

something similar happened to me but I still can't fix it

u need to build barracks to increase the size of the army. with navy it naval bases u need to build.

adding more troops to ur army it will start to build barracks and they will go into the build que and u wont get more troops till the barracks has been built.

they changed how to build barracks as it used to be in the mitilary tab or develpomnt tab but its now been moved to the armies instead.

It seems sometimes even after you build the barracks, the troops do not appear. I think it may be related to combat losses not regenerating?

Ive built them but everything stays at 0. It show in the building q but after they complete the barracks it does nothing. I made 25 in one state and never got a unit.

I had an AI go to war with but they also had no armies, so we could do anything. I tried making a new game and had a rebellion pretty quickly and they never built units ether.

Hey i just resolved this issue, just do a full reinstall and that fixed it for me. Good luck!
