Ability to Play as Aztec, Inca, or Native American tribe?

Noting that there will be an "Americas" DLC (which is part of the Deluxe package)
Will we have the ability to play ancient North or Central, or South American Civilizations?

Unfortunately you can't play as uncivilized nations. You'll either have to conquer and release them, wait for them to civilize or mod the game.

The Aztecs and the inca had both been conquered by the Spanish at this point, so I doubt either will be in the game without mods. From my understanding you can’t play as countries who’s colors aren’t filled in, which at the moment includes most of the natives. I saw somewhere though that they would be adding the ability to play as them in somewhere though.

Probably can start as Mexico & release Myans or Aztecs & the same with Peru for Incas.
