Stuck in a war?
I am playing as Buganda and france defended one of the neighbors I attacked. I've been in this damn war for like 5 years with my standing army and france no where to be see and White Peace isn't an option to select... Will I be stuck at war with france until the end of the game?

As an Edit, they just want to subjugate meand I'm just continuing to suck at the game and try to raise my standard of living since france doesn't seem to want to come fight my puny 10 battalion country in the middle of bum ♥♥♥♥ nowhere in africa

I am the same as Cape Colony. I am a puppet of Britain where they and China have got into a war that doesnt have a front line and just seems to be going nowhere. Thought when China reached 0% it would end but it hasn't. AI wars just seem to be a bit porked.

Warring parties don't seem to capitulate until war score is -100, but war score has a minimum of 0 if the country holds it's capital. So wars can drag on 20+ years since neither side can beat the other but neither side will give up either. There should be some time aspect to it that after a few years if the war is unwinnable by either side that they accept lesser terms or white peace to end it.

This has led to an endless civil war in Germany in my game.

Sadly this seems to be a bug (I had a similar issue just yesterday), where no active fronts were created during a war.

I'd advise you to submit a bug report on the Paradox forums ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/form/22/select ), providing a save file at the time the bug happened: the more reports they get, the faster they will address the issue, I guess.
