Liberty desire is really poorly implemented

Tell me why i can be receiving independence support from 2 great powers and that has no effect on my liberty desire at all

Also, overlord can just hit the "make me go bankrupt" button at anytime because it only adds a percentage modifier onto the bar instead of a flat one, so it effectively decreases my desire by ruining my economy

All the mechanics surrounding vassals seem extremely poorly designed, don't even get me started on military access

Literally sitting here scratching my head looking at the "pay twice as much subject dues" button and then back to the "liberty desire increase modified by 25%"

its literally counteracted by the balancer for having high desire

Yeah it's pretty bad. Every subject quickly becomes an obedient slave which is wildly out of tone with the period.

For me its more that the infamy(my infamy) modifier on subjects is way to high. I can own the entire subject gdp and just a little infamy completely ignores it and the liberty desire skyrockets. Every run I am forced to deal with subjects that are at 100 liberty desire constantly, because I like playing conquest.
