I'd love to have some slaves in Sweden in Gotland. The people don't even want to work the farm jobs there because they don't pay enough. If they were slaves then they wouldn't want so much money and I could keep the farms staffed.

Ignoring the serious ethical and moral complications of the institution of slavery (slavery and racism is unequivocably evil), there's actually no reason why slavery couldnt have been expanded from the plantations and mines onto the factory floor. Factory laborers were already working in near-slave-like conditions for the absolute minimum of pay during the victorian era, and in many cases were even locked up in the factories to keep them from doing unproductive things like going outside, and some even had armed guards to make sure the workers didnt steal anything valuable, so really if slavery hadnt already been abolished for moral and ethical reasons before mass industrialization had hit, slaves could very well have been used for factory work.
