Mouse Wheel Scroll

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can help? I bought this game in a sale a few days ago and to be honest it has been nothing but problems so far.

Without listing the woes I have solved so far, my current problem is that in game the mouse wheel is stuck in 'rolling down' or zoom out. So if I try to zoom into the map, it just immediately zooms back out again. Similarly if I try to roll down a text box, it just scrolls back to the top again automatically.

Its definitely the game as the mouse works fine elsewhere - drivers up to date etc.. I've even noticed that as I shut the game down the odd scroll effect lasts outside the game for a few seconds as the process shuts itself down completely then reverts to normal.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You may have an external device like a controller, driving wheel or joystick plugged in which can do this? So try unplugging these first! otherwise, try looking at or posting about the issue on our tech support and bug reporting forums!

I'm not sure what the problem was but I did try all the usual solutions of unplugging every device and disabling devices - I never had a controller.

Fortunately I found an odd work around:

By enabling Steam Controllers on the startup page for V3 before I started the programme, it opens the game fine, then once I start the game I disable the steam controller software through the same means and the endless scrolling stops.

Not sure what the issue is, I'm not clever enough to figure it out I'm afraid but something connected with Steam certainly..
