Eu5 features vs Vic 3
Anyone else find it hilarious how EU5 in pre development has more features than vic 3 after several years of support? Absolutely shameful, SOI is going to release and paradox will take their 2 month vacation then slowly get back to piddling another dlc that should be in base vic 3

It will also need a supercomputer to run, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Oh, you already have access to EUV and played it enough to draw that comparison? Where can I sign up?

Did we hear anything bad about the performance of Cities Skylines 2 six months before release? No we didn‘t. And then, when it suddenly released, we learned about it ourselves but also in a warning that came maybe a month or so before release. The game is still in developent so we really cannot tell if performance will stay as Johan states because of new features and tags being added. Only time will tell us.

It is not... EU4 is the most popular Paradox game, so they have more oomph to develop it.
Also we don´t know what release version actually have and what will be in the DLCs...

EU5 will run fine if you have 7800X3D or something faster like 9800x3D!

Or a supercomputer.

Let me foretell why it won't be easy on your PCs: the ballooning number of provinces, counties, districts call them what you will, plus the usual Paradox nonsense about visual depiction on the map => a grind to a halt by the end of the Middle Ages.

The production process and buildings in Vic 3 haven't been fixed yet and we are expected to buy the argument that the ones in EU5 will be better?

I'm unsure about EU5 - I mean, it's a strategy, I shouldn't be forced to heavily upgrade my rig just to be able to play it like some fps mob...

It's pretty funny to me that anybody would have high hopes for optimization and decent performance from Paradox when that isn't the case for a single one of their games, except maybe Imperator: Rome oddly enough. That game doesn't suffer from system bloat though either, hence why it's so boring lol

The companies they hire are not very good at efficient coding, so I guarantee there is no way the game will run "smoothly".

+1 to we'll see when it comes out. 95% that it will be worse imho.
