Insignificant native random uprisings are still mayor annoyance
I don't mind native uprisings in puppets in colonial regions but I dislike the current implementation :

- every native tribe in africa, south east asia jungle or elsewhere in 19th century wilderness can (randomly) cause a diplomatic play in Europe with dozens of european nations involved spamming the message area with nonsense neutrality messages.
- the number of uprisings is to some part caused by the game splitting up colonial areas into many small pieces with each piece having a random chance to revolt.
- the following "war" (or pacifiing mission) counts as major war even if the other side does not even have an army. While the war counter is active, most own diplomatic actions (eg with subjects) are not possible.
- if several tribal uprisings overlap, the player may be locked out of his own diplomatic actions for years which is nonsense.

Minor native uprisings shouldn't be treated like mayor diplo plays / wars at all.
There is already the infamy counter to contain expansive players ...
I have 30+ puppets and colonies but many of them are just small fractions of a single region like eg Borneo. (Is there a way to unite Borneo as European power without annexing all pieces first since every annex usually also causes a diplo play and a war?)

I wonder if the devs play their game from time to time?

Yes, that's a major source of annoyance. But the devs simply didn't think this trough, or they just threw everything into the Diplomatic Play mechanic and called it a day. I mean, you might have noticed that the game wasn't released in a finished state, and it still remains in beta.

The funny thing is they released a "fix" so that uprisings are now defensive plays which shouldn't block you from starting your own, aaaand it doesn't work, as always :)

In theory a native uprising diplo play does not block your diplomatic options, but in practice this doesn't help you if you are still in another native uprising war at that time.

Native rebel provinces are often fractions of bigger provinces and they often don't have armies, so they don't get casualties and do not suffer much exhaustion to make the war counter go down from 100 to -100 quickly. It's a minimum 15-20 weeks per insignificant war.

Maybe the next update will improve that. We are getting ever closer to having a full game, albeit at a snail's pace.
