Automatically change Production method
The way Victoria 3 represents the production method in the market by having the player change manually is not realistic for me. AND MOST IMPORTANCE, IT'S ANNOYING. so I think It will be a better idea to have them change Automatically.

Not really.

First, not all "upgraded" production methods are straight better. There's usually a tradeoff between higher output of target goods coupled with higher input of w/e resource. You might or might not want this.

Then, some of them involve "upgrading" things requiring less jobs while providing the same output and slightly higher input. And less jobs usually means more radicalism. Why have this upgraded automatically?

But what is surely missing is ANY ways to consistently manage anything. You cannot setup defaults for new buildings of the same type, or new armies, or force upgrades units for all armies (no tradeoff there), or at least see how many units are in outdated state.

A common sense data that is MANDATORY to have in a game of that scalse - is missing.

Do you use the Buildings Tab which allows to switch production method for all buildings of a type in your empire?

You never have had a big economy did you?
Because if you change production method of... lets say 50-100 Steelwork companies at the same time you screw up the market or population (talink about workforce)for sure...
Its just as it should be.

And i didnt know that every compandy in the past changed its methods as soon as someone just found a better way to produce something?

I think and option to have buildings naturally change production method as the technology is researched then as it would be profitable for the change to happen. I personally keep different buildings with different methods in different states so I would still prefer to do it manually but I see the benefit of automating it.

Buildings that are built with private investment should be able to change their methods for themselves but they should consider market availability and the local/market amount of the needed material for their product
But I don’t care to be honest, game is boring with the core mechanics as it is
