Paraguay Help

Hi, I own this game since it was published, but I wasn't playing it too much. However, I saw there is new South America dlc published and I immediately knew what to do. I tried to play as Paraguay because I was really interested in Paraguayan War before and I was happy when I saw they really got additonal materials. However, it's not easy. Paraguay is isolationist hermit kingdom ruled by an eccentric dictator with just +1k money balance. I tried already tree times, but every time my economy started boiling way before the war was even about to start. I tried upgradeing infrastucture like lifestock farms etc. but it didn't really help. I don't see a way I could possibly rise just 20 battalions, not to mention a way to actually defeat Brazil and Argentina. If you have some advice, it would be most welcome.

I have recently been trying to crack the egg that is Paraguay too; its by far the most difficult nation I have tried to play as. The key appears to be to break out via Argentina because they are on the weaker side but I haven't quite found the right timing yet. I do a run every so often when I'm bored of my current main playthrough.

This is the best guide I have found so far, but unfortunately it talks more about what to do after you've broken out than what you do to do so.
