Is economic victory possible ? (it asks me to have 818M PIB)

Hello,
In the economic victory mode, after achieving a few goals, the game give me a new goal : to have a PIB higher than 'X', but this value 'X' grows faster than my PIB does, and it is always greater than three times the biggest PIB of the world. So I never achieve the goal and at the end in 1934 it asks me to have a PIB of 818M.
Do you have an idea why ? Is there a way to achieve this victory ?

probably yes, on reddit there were posts like "I have billion gdp" and such. But pretty tedious I guess.

Way more difficult now than it used to be for sure

I managed to do it after the game came out.

You could have several billions gdp in first patches pretty easy. Now it is much more difficult, but still possible. You can try to win a war against GB and split it (release England< scotland etc.) and same with France to reduce total gdp needed to achieve victory.

In 1.4.2 i got 2B without much effort

Thank's, I tried with 2 sicilies and spain, but never been able to have more than 115M and never tried an agressive solution, I'll try again.

In 1.5 they majorly broke hiring process, so I'm not sure if good economy is possible now

Before I could reach 1B halfway into the game, now i can barely crack above 350 as the UK, were before my high score was 3B.

I think top priority now is very high literacy to deal with qualifications even in nondiscriminated states
