Language reverts back?

I have to change the language back to english every time from launcher. Every time I close the game and want to play again it changes back to Spanish, but I want to play in English. No matter what I try, it reverts back to spanish every time I close the game.

maybe it uses your geolocation and so automatically uses the language of the system?

have no idea because you set the language in the game itself anyhow.

Had the same problem.
Wanted to play in English, kept on rolling back to Polish after launching game again.

At first I changed language only in in-game menu.
Kept reverting.
Then I also changed the language of launcher itself (top right corner).
It's OK.

Same here for German - the problem has been posted multiple times on the offical PDX-forums, but the answer by staff was always that they can't replicate it and it will forward it to the Dev Team.

So yeah, guess I'll have to play around in the launcher everytime before starting up the game.

I changed it in the launcher only once, it didnt revert.

Does it work different in your case?

You can also set the options document on “documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria 3/“ as read-only. It works but I don’t think is the best option.

It doesn't unfortunaley. I change it every time I boot up the launcher (and curse like a sailor if I forget to).
