how to mod obsessions

Where do you add the obsessions? I can´t find any file that has them

protip: use a text editor like sublime 3 and add the whole commen folder to it then search the wole folder when you are looking for a smth.

yeah, but inside the culture folder there is no mention of obsessions, atleast not in mine. And even using Sublime it shows 0 results

You need to add the folder then rightclick -> find in folder.

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Victoria 3\game\common\cultures\00_cultures.txt
its just a file containing the list of cultures and for example:
obsessions = {
wine
}
adds the obsession to that culture or culture trait.

thank you, I added the obsessions, as you showed. But funny enough they never once appeared anywhere else, nor are the normal cultures showing any obsessions.

What are you trying to do?
Obsessions might be limited to luxery goods per default

No, I solved it just like you said. But there are no other obsessions to be found in any file whatsoever. Not even using the sublime 3 to search for them, do they appear. Thtat´s why I was confused and unsure where to add them
