unplayable
How the hell you deal with all these revolutions always give them what they want? Every single time I try to change a law revolution pop up, even multiple ones.

You have to use the deep and rewarding war system to put down the rebellion bro.

I am playing as France and they always have 6x more troops. I dont get it. Even if they have like 8% support. I just dont get it. I never struggle with any paradox game so much... :D historically it does not make any sense, gameplay wise too.

Conservatism and war are super icky and bad, it's the current year bro

Yeah im having the same problem. The aristocracy demands i reinstitute serfdom. or they will minus 20 opinion. Its 1860. Gigantic revolt because 300k people in a nation of 40mil decided education laws are cringe and you belong on a farm.

Is this supposed to be fun?

Try 20. If you get an aristocratic revolt as east india company, it literally pops back up in a few weeks after you defeat it. You can't even pass the law they were protesting before they start again.

I think its time to shelve this game for a year or two to see if they can fix it. I had hopes this DLC would be a good step forward but instead it feels a big set back.

It makes passing laws more frustrating when it was already a frustrating part of the game. In this game there is no real reason to stay a slave state or closed borders. So it feels like the point is to get to open borders/multiculturalism asap. And now its even more annoying to do that.

Yesterday i (brazil) could ban slavery by puppeting argentina and anexing guiana in a peace deal with england that also gave me 5 years of good money. A rebelion threatened to rise when i moved on womens rights, but i got the law and they gave up.
When you learn the game it is not that hard. My tip is to read the opinion change in the law. -20 means rebelion, so you may go for a -10 and wait for then to change their minds.

I changed plenty of laws and I didn't have a revolution in 40 years in-game.

Use reforms, other laws in their favor, supress them, use tools at your disposition, the game doesn't hold your hand, there are ways to avoid revolutions no matter the law you enact.

How the ♥♥♥♥ you dare to say the game can be played in any way other than moving my tiny men to destroy the rebels?

Now you're going to say what, I actually need to pay attention to my relation with the interested countries on a strategic zone when I decide to declare a war there?

It is not like it's a group with more money than anyone else to buy whole armies and ponies for everyone to boot. Is it?

Without dlc it was fine, but, but I end up building and colonizing everything I can, every time. Nothing else. Some boring wars and whats it.
