How to recover from civil war?

I'm doing the swedish tutorial and I'm around the year 1900. There's been a civil war, I won it, but now I'm stuck at -50k income. I tried to reduce the expenses but I have no idea how to fix the situation. What shoud I do?

Did you change all the production methods back? The other side would try to balance their economy by changing them so when you win, you need to change it all back to the better and profitable ones.

Basically I just "repaired" the infrastructures, ignored the debt. I just focused on making my big machine work again. I stopped investing resources or money in things that were unecessary. Now I'm +17k positive so I think I'm saved!
