I deliberately lost a war to get the "Ban Slavery" war goal forced on me. Nothing happened.

Playing as the Philippines, the Netherlands started a Diplomatic Play against me, where the primary demand was "Ban Slavery". I backed down ASAP, because they'd otherwise take Mindanao too.

I want to ban slavery anyway. But nothing at all happened when I backed down and the "Ban Slavery" war goal was forced on me. I still had "Slave Trade".

I bet that's a legacy from when slavery was in labor rights rather than its own category

Same thing happened to me, UK started a play on me as the Ottomans with the main war goal being ban slavery. I capitulated before the war could start and slavery wasn't banned.
