0% Market Access

Not sure if I'm missing something, but as Prussia I have 4 states with 0% market access even though the states have plenty of infrastructure and they are connected to the market capital by land. Are there actual trade routes that I am unaware of over land?? Do the states that goods travel through have to have a certain building or infrastructure level? All my states had 100% access and we had a unification event that actually connected all my land and now half my states have 0% market access. What am I missing??

Go to the State Overview, and hover over the Market Access and see what the tooltip says is going on.

If you have zero market access for a state, the tooltip for market access on the state overview will be explicit in indicating why this is.

Seemed to be a bug. I exited to the main menu and reloaded, now I have 100% access to the market.

Yea you definitely had a bug where the UI wasn't loading properly. That UI tooltip should never be blank like that.

Are you running any mods in your game? That's the only thing I can think of currently that actually will break a tooltip.

And I'm guessing since you're Prussia, you're the custom union leader for your market? You shouldn't be losing market access to your own market, particularly given the state in question is land locked, not isolated, and has valid land connections to the market capital. Your sea lanes are adequately staffed with spare convoys in case of convoy raids?

Yes in all the questions asked. This was actually affecting 4 states of mine all on the west side of my territory.

Fixed now with the reload.

I have a similar situation in formosa, but it doesn't drop below 90% market access.
No turmoil, massively more infrastructure than needed, but I'm still getting spammed by notifications that vanish and return every couple of minutes.

If you belong to a custom union, and you aren't connected to the market capital via a land connection, you will be suffering market access from a sea lane convoy issue. Produce more convoys yourself to help make up for the custom union market deficit.

You can also always check to see the state overview of the state that is having market access issues. Hover over market access and it will pull up a useful tooltip.
