As Shik Empire I started a game. But as India i puppeted Great Britain and no achivement.

So basicly what happend in my run:
Counqured some country around me puppeting or annexxing them. Waited for infamy to drop every time.
I tried so hard to get rid of Britain from my neighbour as Sikh Empire .puppeted East India Company later. Few wars later i transfered more puppets under my rule from (britain).
I formed India after this.
around 1890 Started to hold off all the great powers beacuse of infamy and after those wars I started to take ONE state of great Britain and freed the Welsh people.
After the Truce i declared puppeting Great Britain they backed off and got no achivement.
Can u paradox dev help me? Thank you!
PLayed already 200-300 hours really cant tell why it is. Thanks.

You have to be the Sikh Empire to get the achievement, can't do it as India.

Thanks for the answer. I will redo few wars then as Sikh :D But it is sad. The achivement says u should start as Shik Empire... :(

I think the wording of it can be a tad misleading, but if memory serves me on this one it does say "start as and puppet". Perhaps for clarity these achievements should say "start as and as them" then whatever the objective is for the achievement.

Has to be Sikh Empire. Someone else had the same complaint as you going Punjab for the achievement.

KGK is correct, but this is a very tricky achievement and more precise wording would certainly help. If you take the entirety of Baluchistan, including the Omani treaty port, along with east Punjab and Delhi (and perhaps another province, I don't recall exactly as it's been a while since it occurred), Punjab will form automatically. You have to leave the Omani port for the end.
