If memory serves there was already a fanmade Vic2 to HOI4 converter, but I don't recall. I wouldn't be surprised if one gets made to convert from Vic3 to HOI4

I thought there was an EU4 to HOI4 converter already? If so I can't see it being too hard to do that with HOI4 since it's just reskinning the start the same way with EU4.

I would NEVER buy another converter again, if PDX tried to sell it.
I still have the official CK2 to EU3 converter (I think, might be EU4) and it has NEVER worked. And that was a paid product.

If some mod can make it work, maybe.

The team which created the vic2 to hoi4 converter is already working on an a vic3 to hoi4 converter: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/vic3-to-hoi4-converter-thread.1475076/

But it will likely take a few months till it is usable

None of their converters cost any money and AFAIK all of them work. If you are dissatisfied with the ck2 to eu4 converter from pdx, you can try the converter by that team which actually works. If you want a refund from pdx, you should ask them and not a team of volunteers.

I did, and PDX refused refunds for their non-working converter.
Since it was a DLC technically, Steam would not refund despite it not working, and a CC chargeback would have aced my Steam acct.
So, thanks for your worthless advice.

brother wtf is wrong with you?
Relax. The guy was just letting you know that there is a team of VOLUNTEERS that create converters which are quite loved by the community and works really great. That you bought some product years ago that didn't work is of no use to this discussion.

Never sold a converter. Was part of the game.
