Lag after 1880 - Game Performance -
So i have really tried to get to 1936 so many times now. I have been playing as the United Kingdom. Consistently around 1880 the game just starts to drag finishing a week takes multiple minutes.

Here are some things I found getting to about 1901-1904 in my games where by then the turns take at least 3-5 minutes per week on speed 5

-The Market Tab has to be avoided the entire play through or it lags the game even harder. If you are running the game and you enter the Engines market its not so awful, but click on Clippers? and you will lose like 20 fps instantly. The more commonly used markets seems to cause more lag but in general this needs to be looked at.

-Migration & Population seem to also be causing a significant amount of lag. The same issue with the market tab in regards to lag in the population tab

-Play testing as the UK allows you to easily obtain 2k-3k+ construction sectors output and when you do this the game comes to a screeching halt.

Currently I think the engine is having a very hard time tracking all of this information that changes on a weekly or daily basis. Ive tried to get to 1936 but every time i get to 1900 the game is moving so slowly I think to myself "Yeah I could sit here for 8 hours watching the week timer tick... or..." and that is generaly the end of the run because the 8 hours in sp from 1900 to 1936 is not an unfair estimate.

I have a RTX 2080 with good ram and a i9 cpu so I dont think its a hardware issue.

Really love the game, even enjoying the war system now that I have had enough time to get how it works. Just wish the game would process the information more efficiently so I could actually finish a game xD

If anyone has any fixes besides dropping the settings to lowest possible I'd love to hear it.

Happening to alot of people bro. The only thing we can do is wait for the patch (which they say is coming soonish). Apparently it's caused by pop fragmentation in late game, once AI countries have liberalised and people start migrating big time.

I had ottoman game with a 3-4 fps on 1900-1910. I was number 1 great power with 500+million economy and getting migrations around the world. :)
