Saved games corrupted by new version??????????

Couldn't load any of my saved games "they are from an older version, not compatible", or stuff like that. PARADOX WTF YOU DONE AGAIN?

Leak in motivation after many crashes, is rising after no loadable game is out there anymore!

Do you have any mods? I have some older saves but Im playing without mods, and it loads perfectly fine there.

Usually only major patches (like 1.1, 1.2, 2.0 etc.) are making old saves incompatible and hotfixes (like this one; 1.0.4) are save compatible, so I don't know what they did this time.

I recommend to rollback to 1.0.3 through Beta setting and then load your old save.

1.0.4 is broken anyways. All the economies are tanking from a bug.

honestly 3/4 of my saved games are corrupted and that was from the first 2 days of launch. games just randomly set themselves on fire sometimes

Apparently this is on pre-patch saves only, new games do not have the issue. I haven't verified this myself, but I did start a new Japan save not even realizing there was an update, and I don't notice any balance issues.
