War in Africa unwinnable

Playing as Japan and my units get destroyed every time i try to conquer land. It looks like i have supply issues (because i have 100% attrition) but i have enough guns cannons and clippers to supply my armies in Africa and I have my navies protecting supply routes. As soon as the battle starts my troops instantly lose and when i check the amount of soldiers lost on the enemy side they have lost 0 soldiers in the year long war ive been fighting them. I'm guessing this is a bug but can anyone tell me if im doing something wrong?

youre sending units to africa from japan lol. thats whats wrong.

the boats just are too slow, but i did see england move 178 battalions to africa in 2 weeks lol

Yeah, I have the same thing as germany. Needed dyes and needed to invade a place but when landing I lose my army in 2 sec
