Unable to launch game? Getting a general error? Try this.

The game works, the launcher doesn't. Run victoria3.exe from the root directory and it's great. \\\Steam\steamapps\common\Victoria 3\binaries\victoria3.exe

If the issue persists, reinstall.

In most cases you'll open Windows Explorer, and plug in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Victoria 3\binaries

Once there, locate the file called 'victoria3.exe' and double click (or, right click then 'open'). This is the main executable for the application and should run the program. If nothing happens at all, there is a bigger issue at hand and perhaps reinstall.

Just gives a minidump error message. Not working.

There's also a launcher installer in the same directory as the game executable. Running this fixed the launcher for me.

yeah. running \Victoria 3\launcher\launcher-installer-windows.msi fixed issue for me too
