Oh really I never knew this though the only Paradox games I have played since EU2 are Stellaris and CK3. Is releasing a country easy?
If that doesn't work you could likely play as france or someone, go to war with UK with goal to release ireland, use a code to force them to surrender immediately so ireland becomes independent. Then reload the save selecting Ireland as your playable country
Developer also seemed to hint in one post you can release England from UK (I don't think they named it, just said UK had an "surprising nation to release".... which would be interesting, having England sitting next to a world-spanning Celtic Empire.
Ok. I never knew once you release a country and save that they essentially become added on the map as a country to play as in a new game. Should be interesting
What else would you expect? Lol
Were you bullied by an Irishman? That's an awful lot of resentment there.... against a people and country that are among the most successful in the world today 😉.
By Descent. 10% of people in England have Irish descent. Does that make them Irish? Most people in Britain and Ireland have ancestory that stretches across these two Islands. I myself have Norman ancestory. At the end of the day if we go back far enough we all come from Africa anyway.
Scotland culturally however is a Gaelic nation largely. It is culturally unique to England while also being British. Similar to Wales.
Remember the gaels of Ireland were also called Scots. This is where Scotland got it's name, the people between these lands were essentially the same. Lowland Scots came mainly from Northumbria
