Cultural eradication

[I got 1984'd]

Can anyone confirm if we can exterminate a culture group for good, until they are nonexistent in my country? Is assimilation the only way?

What I mean by this isn't genocide, but forced removal/expulsion or re-education campaigns.

Stellaris has this option. And if this game is built using Stellaris's engine then it's possible. If population POSITIVE growth is possible, then a NEGATIVE growth should be possible. It will take a few modifiers to script that.

Genocide and ethnic cleansing are probably the only things Paradox wouldn't shamelessly pack into a DLC and charge $29.99 for. Everything else is fair game.

Why beat around the bush?

Sure, I wanna be able to genocide cultures. Wipe them out. Convert their sons and daughters to the one true way of life and erase all memory of their history. There doesn't necessarily need to be an "Exterminate Culture" button that I can click on to do it instantly, but if there's culture conversion such that all pops within my borders adopt my culture, great.

You can do it in CK, you can do it in Stellaris, you can do it in Imperator, you can do it in EU4. No need to tiptoe around it for the likes of Victoria 3.
