Late Game Performance
What is it with the late game performance?

Years 18:60 till 1930 went mostly smooth, though a bit laggy to the end, but now that I have cracked the 1980's stuff has gone way worse.

Browsing through trade routes will cause the game to microlag and drop down to 1 to 4 fps, clicking a trade route will take up to 5 seconds until it is actually taken. (Though that happened before too. Why is there such a delay anyways?)

The game can't be played on speed 5 anymore as it will just chug along, speed 4 is semi fine and speed 3 works nicely.

Off topic:
Can we have a 'Drop all non profitable/All inactive trade routes' button because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

It probably isn't well optimised.

A lot of paradox games suffer from endgame performance, Hoi 4, stellaris, eu4 even will crack out if there are way to many nations in the end and the world generally isn't consolidating.

It will get better as time goes on, they really cleaned up stellaris (But also after they added trade stellaris was basically unplayible halfway through the game). I dont know what your cpu is but the end game is really cpu heavy, so if you are late in life and have the money to drop on a new rig for one game you could always consider it.

Late game performance is appalling. This needs to be addressed in the first patch.
