My PC is 48G ram + 3090ti.
But I crashed many times after many years.
It is CPU-Consuming and contains a lot of bugs.

first. this game is not really GPU heavy. more CPU and RAM.
second. with u RAM u will struggle for sure. especially late game when industry is evolved.
my average Ram load is at 11gb and my Ryzen 5 3600X had some really heavy load spikes as well (only late game"1890"), random crashes are common right now sadly.

I have 64GB's. and a recent i7. It purrs along nicely but with 8GB's I doubt it will run in a stable state.

wait for more patch fix. I have better settup then you and I am in my mid game (1870) and my game is crashing like once every 10 minutes. it is unplayable right now

^^This^^

Late game performance is even worse. Late game performance issues are par for the course with most PDX new releases. As usual, we'll have to wait for at least one patch for a newly released PDX game to be fully playable sans lag. What else is new?....
Need decent cpu for paradox games ram too

Sure, but better quality control and beta testing on their part wouldn't hurt either.
i have 16gb ram and it sucks dic*s in 1870s... absolute trash performance.
however, i don't think its about your set up and more on the side of poor quality assurance / lack of testing / bad coding... and i should know since i work in the software development industry :D
