Resource map mode?

Is there some way for me to discover where things like iron or coal are? Clicking on every single state in the world is a pretty cack handed way to handle it.

I agree, would help with invading the right areas as well. Where should I invade for silk or oil for example.

You´ll have to go into the market screen and select a resource, then it will show you on the map ands its availability. Quite the dumb placement for such a feature, you ought to think that it could´ve appeared on the "Resource" screen when in the construction lens?
