How do I cancel a trade route I started?
Its an export route costing me too much Bureaucracy but I can't find where I cancel it.

I just found out you have to expand the product in the market tab (should be a golden arrow you can click to expand) to see the underlying export and imports. There you can cancel any routes you have set up.

I'm struggling with this as well. I need to cancel my export of wood. I have checked the "Market" and the "Trade" lens, but are are no options to cancel the trade routes I've set.

I think there are some routes that you can't control and the only way to control it is putting taxes on it to discourage countries to buy that specific product. For example I have a lot of coal and many countries are buying it without me being able to stop that unless putting lots of taxes (And even then it doesn't get reduced completely but a bit).

Yeah, you can only cancel trade routes you initiate.

If you dont wanna trade go to isolationism, or use protectionism to selectively manage tariffs for import/export based on circumstance.

Its costing you Bureaucracy so it is one you've set up, in your countries market screen (from the button at the left of the ui) you can select the trade routes tab.

From there scroll down to the resource you are trading in and select it, it will show all the trade routes you are participating in for that resource and there should be a [X] button to the right of the trade route that you can press to cancel a route.

As others have said if another country has started a route you cannot cancel these. But you can control tariffs per resource so you can "protect domestic supply" or something which will increase tariffs on foreign goods which will mean the ai shouldn't want to trade that resource to or from you,

Hopefully they add an overview of "our" trades soon.

Go to Market. Trade routes tab. There find a type of goods your route ships. You will see a number next to it's name anyway, so you can see what you import/export to other markets if you just scroll through the list. Anyway, click on that product. Figure out from there, you will see your trade route.
