Help: No Weapon Production anymore

Hey,
I need some help. I started my first Free to play Game with Sweden and one day I got an Event, with Peace demonstrations. One option was to stop the production til the demonstrations are over. I thought: Ok, it is just temporary, but its now a quite long time and costs a lot of money...
If I look in the respective state I see the Info-Modifier '-100% because of Weapon Manufacturing Ban'. But there is no Timer or any else Info. Anyone have an Idea how I could get my weapon prodcution back?

most events i saw last a between 3 and 5 years . could be the same for you sadly.

some event are see able , when you click your king/queen(or anyone who's bascily ruling the country) click on him and you see some modifiers right bottom

-100 Arms production for 3 to 5 years seems crazy just because you click on event, please fix if this is true o0

I mean which country would accept that, especially in the 1800's??

Apparently my Sweden! ;)

I agree, If the answer is true (@Karsh: thanks for the Info, I will see, if the 3-5 years will be enough - under King/Queen i didn't find it), at least it should be possible to deactivate it, with some kind of malus, radicals or something else.
