You can choose between two worlds at start of play Archos: The Sacred Path and Gaia: Shard of Faith.
They're two different worlds with somewhat different gameplay elements.
Archos: The Sacred Path could be very quickly be summarized as Fantasy ARK, for a version of ARK that wasn't out a year yet.
Gaia: Shard of Faith. is a bit different. fewer flying options, more transformation magic e.t.c. It was a later add-on/DLC which somewhat broke the core game (Sacred Path) because the quest system for both is the same, and you can't complete most of the Gaia quests on Archos.
