Server Management tools gone??

I know you can use SteamCMD to host your own, but I was partial to the actual management tools with the nice little UIs. But both DNL Server Tool and Dark and Light Server Manager downloads are gone. The SM links lead to 404 errors. I had it installed before I had to do a reset on my pc and didn't realize you couldn't download it anymore.

Anyone have an alternative? The main servers are pretty dead, so I'd rather just play with friends on my own.

Heya, if you mean the ones that used to be under Steam's Tools,
those are for a while now. Since, I wanna say since early 2021...
Official Servers have been mostly dead for years yeah.
I'm hosting a relaxed PvE Archos Server 'Nether Realms' through the Guildportal service which has some mods and this suits my needs. The web interface for managing the server is pretty decent.

file is latest.exe and if I recall correctly it was a modified exe to allow for the cross server Gia and SoF servers to transfer. I've used this and run it, but I'm not some IT guru and cant guarantee its 100% safe.

Sorry my bad, i didn't pay attention and they are named the same.


Ok the latest exe is from 5/2019 so probably not the most updated. I did include the most current game exe (DNLServermanager.exe) that is modified to allow server transfer from Gaia to SoF and the most current non modded game exe. if you install the latest.exe and then copy over the DNLServermanager.exe and it does not work, I can zip up the whole install possibly.

I tested it, the install version is (1.0.51.1) my current version is 1.0.61 which is what the added 2 DNLServer manager.exe are. added those to the older install didnt work so dont use them. I will see if I can figure out how to get the most updated version to you guys.

It seems the file is no longer available as of March 1st. The site charges 30 dollars to recover the file. Seems a little steep. Just curious, I have the D&L server manager but I cannot get it out of initialization. I use both ASM and CSM besides the DLSM so Im somewhat familiar with setting them up. Both Conan and Ark server managers work but for some reason Dark and Light wont. Any ideas on why that is?

I remember talking with someone a while back who mentioned the Mod author had abandoned it, and they think it was uploaded to Github as open source.

Ill have to check that out. Right now you can use Gportal and rent a server....15 dollars a month. But I like the control over all the settings that the Server Managers offer.
