Unaplayable - Keep getting teleported random places when running or getting off mount

Log into main sever I play on and when on mount and getting off, it randomly teleports you back to a previous location. Decided to go to pvp sever instead, logged in at a random place. No big deal i can run to the city. Get in the dward city, run to residental area, suddenly on a mountain top falling form the sky. Trigger death, no way off. Respawn back in city, stand still to make sure i am good, suddently teleported randomly again to a mountain side, rinse and repeat until finally I give up. This is not even playable anymore on pvp or pve due to this random teleporting. Does anyone know how to fix this on my end or is this just another screw up in the release. I am playing on the old maps/area. Not even logged into the new stuff yet.

same issue. not sure what the time line is for a fix. best thing to do is walk i guess.

Unplayable? You don't start the game with a flyer and most flyer saddle are unlocked later in the game.

Waiting a few seconds before dismounting helps some (won't happen as often).

Easy work around- play the dlc it's much better then Archos (imo)... hopefully a fix comes soon

By Unplayable, I mean currently. I am not a new player. I have been playing awhile and therefore have multiple mounts nad animals, etc. But as of this momemt the game is unplayable for me because of the recent patch. I like Archos and still enjoy it, so why should i have to move to new content when I enjoy the old still. So that is not an easy solution. Easy solution is fix what is already out before adding new stuff!

The entire Archos map with exception of sky island can be reached without a flyer. Archos is still very much playable without a flyer.

You don't have to move to new content, was just a suggestion.

As to your last statement- you speak like this has been a problem for a long time. It hasn't, have some patients, they obviously aware of it and I'm sure they working on a fix- in the mean time if you going to use a flyer: land, stop moving, count to 3 then dismount (it won't happen as often)

you clearly missed the part of my post in which i did try without a mount...when i was randonly teleported to a mountain when running in the dwarf city? And how it continued to happen? I am really not interested in feeling like i have to defend myself to you. I merely asked and i quote

"Does anyone know how to fix this on my end or is this just another screw up in the release."

So please just move on from my post as you have nothing helpful to say and clearly only want to argue.

I did say about this in the bugs and feedback thread, I thought casting restore rune started it for me and ARK had it for a short time before it was patched the next day, u dont teleport randomly, u teleport back to where you first mounted it.
I also heard from another player that firing a hook arrow will fix it, I havent tested this theory as I dont have a new mount yet.

Same here. Archos is unplayable with this bug. Never forget, Archos = flyers. Ok with the DLC but the main map must be functional again.

just walking along and start rubberbanding back ten spaces and cant move like I am stuck to a spot on a leash.

I took a gryphon up to the Ice Cave in Archos, got off and got bounced all the way back to my house. So I used a wyvern rune to go fetch him from in front of the cave, let go of the rune and got bounced back to the house. Thankfully, I was able to fly there and have him follow me out.

Another incident, I was taking a boar out for foraging, if you try to move while he's rooting, it bounces you back to the spot he was in when he started digging. No sliding about as previously.

I can deal with the slower foraging but not the leash or potentially abandoning a flyer in a dangerous spot that isnt reachable any other way and undefended.

It's happening on the dlc map too. I play single player, so I can confirm it's not just on the servers.

It was said that this bug only occurs on old characters. We were all supposed to roll fresh characters after the Shard of Faith launch, regardless of what map you are on.

A temperary work around which one of our house members discorved, is fly with 2 birds, once u land come close to the second bird and Press E, you should dismount and view the other birds inventory, and not teleport, works 99% of the time.
