Sup, i found an Unicorn elite and want it to transform to a pegasus - its lvl 8 - how many iron hookarrows do i need and how many mystical food? would be nice if someone knows!

Rough estimate? 250-300 iron hook arrows depending on how many people are shooting it (speed) and their accuracy. As for mystical feed, a level 8 should need a little less than 60 (no exact measurement, but it's more than 55 and less than 60).

Nah, you would only need about 30-35 mystical feed if you're going big on estimates. We fed ours (level 44) 29 and it got it over halfway. I'd say unless it's level once it transforms isn't actually 8, you're good with the 30-ish area. Also, don't count on it being a level 8 once it transforms because once it does it's level and stats change. In theory, it could be a perfect 120 but you won't know until after you down it, so be extra prepared.

I've tamed two level 4s on mythical feed. Both took over 50 feed. Also, they always evolve to the same level as the elite...
The only mythical that can evolve to a "different" level is the elite nidhog -> windrider evolution for a level 80 elite nidhog (and that's only because the level 80 elite nidhog isn't actually level 80 but a random level that's hidden behind the level 80).

Forget iron hook arrows, Use the goblin clubs. If you don't have any, kill goblins (elite goblins in particular) until you get some. You'll want to trap the elite griffin in a "cage" inside your taming box, which is a little tricky, but it is sooo worth it. I was so happy when I realized i didn't have to spend hours and hours making/buying iron hook arrows.
