Where does one go to find meteors that can spawn dark earth elementals?

Edit: Other than the volcano

I've seen one, but that's it. Only comes in the highest tier meteor.

Yeah, that's where I saw the only one that I've seen.

The spawn rate was pretty unreliable though (since meteors don't fall all that often). Are there any other locations or is that it?

I found a swamp filled with dark stone, not far from the human city. It was also filled with Wraths

That is a good guide, but it only mentions the Volcano (which as I was saying is rather unreliable in terms of consistent meteor drops) for Dark Earth Elementals.

I Feel like thats the only place it drops at though plus don't forget you can activate the event at any time to get these going so it makes it more reliable.

Are you talking about the altars of darkness? I thought that only affected the plains area.

Im going to test it today but its supposed to affect the Volcano Area.
