Aowin is wrong, this club does not work as it's supposed to.
katskratches does not even address the actual problem. A workaround is not a solution to something that is broken.
This definiately needs a fix. Lower the base damage significantly.
Hook arrows are there to help you level up taming and get delicious food, so taming albino deer (lvl40) takes less than 60sec (literally).
Also virtually all mobs recover hp faster than constituion so just be patient if they get too low.
the moment you level up melee, it goes from doing 4-10 damage, to 20-90 90-150 etc.
whether they decide to address it or not, I take it with a grain of salt. atm they are releasing raiding content, and the next patch most likely will be more monsters added. judging from their schedule release acitivity pattern. They are going to release all NPC houses, quest, monsters, buildings, and spells first, and bug/hotfix old ♥♥♥♥ later, in perpesctive , a fine tactic IF the game's popularity holds fast long enough for content to be riddiculed or appreciated.
Not sure what you speak of. I also tamed an Albino deer the same way. Are you sure its a goblin club you are using?
I was only doing 29 damage per hit. And it took more than 2 hits btw.
