Hosting non dedicated server?

So far this game is awesome. DEFINITELY some...issues, and I will do a more full review after my wife and I get some more time into it (hopefully our feedback can do some good for the game) but for now, I have a question--

Is there any way at all to run a non-ded server yet? There is even an option for tether distance, but I can't seem to start a non dedicated server for us to play alone on! Now there are plenty of servers without people on BUT I would like to be able to tweak settings! So if there is a way to do this and I am just derping, please let me know!

You can download and run the DNL dedicated server tool on your PC and have anyone connect to it. There are a few thread that you might be able to find to help you set it up.

What about Non-Dedicated?? Not Dedicated, they have the setting for this in the server join menu including settings for the host tether distance in game. Also the dedicated command window (That comes with the game) doesnt work it doesnt load anything.
