Slow moving animals after tame
I tamed a high level wolf, Hyena and Bear yesterday. The hyena is great, no issues, the wolf and the bear however are broken. They move so slow, like they are encumbered (they are not btw) anyone know why this is happening, anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a fix?

Did you use a cobweb to tame them? This was supposed to have been fixed recently, but it still might be broken: if you used a cobweb to tame them, after they are tamed they will remain slow - just hit them with another cobweb and after it wears off, they should go back to normal speed.

Yeah it's still broken, I found the fix on a reddit page not long after I posted this. They keep bringing in new bugs with new content and forget to fix the existing ones

That is an unfortunate condition of software development when rushed.
I think the other fix was to kill and rez your tame :(

Is killing and rezzing your tame the only way it can be fixed on a PVE server where you CAN'T hurt your tame and therefore CAN'T slow it?

No, you can have it slowed again by enemy creatures (bears, dharkhu) and wait for it to hopefully wear off. Then hope it doesn't happen again. Your better option is to stop supporting this company. This is only one example of a fairly significant issue with a simple fix where they *choose* to do nothing.

I've had this issue on my official PvE server and the fix (recasting cobweb on your affected tame) works on it just fine. The last time I did it was about 2-3 weeks ago, so it's possible they broke it even more since then.

What this guy said, I should have updated this when I found out.. I hope this games gets the TLC it deserves :-( I own PixArk as well so i'm not going to hold my breath. Good luck folks

This happened to me last night. Hitting it with another cobweb while having it follow me worked fine. For me this game is too enjoyable to let a little bug like this spoil my game play.

try turning your tame into a sheep with a spell

CanPanther, that only works if Friendly Fire is allowed on the PvE server. When friendly fire is not allowed, it makes you unable to negatively affect your tames with cobweb spells etc. So the fix of cobwebbing it in that scenario does not work. I hadn't tried turning it into a sheep yet though. I ended up just killing it and rezzing it to fix the issue.

I understand your frustration, but I love this game far too much to not support it. Long live Dark and Light!

As far as I know, all of the -official- PvE servers have friendly fire enabled. That's why I mentioned that fact about the server I was on, and did not mention private servers at all, as it did not come up previously.

I've had this happen in single player yesterday. I've just returned after a year. I found reloading the game fixed it, I've also heard restarting your server fixes it, that's if you have that option?

For any devs that may read this...please, please do not let this game die. It's way too good for that.

Hold up? "Rushed development?!" Yeah ok... It's been years and instead of "developing" the game function, they'd rather do a batch amount of work on new content and hand that out for free. The amount of bugs in this game, then release a DCL, shows they simply do not give a ♥♥♥♥. lmao
