Dark and Light MMO 2006 ???Hey Dev's I want my tombstone finally.

Back in 2005 I had beta tested the MMO Dark and Light published by Farlan Entertainment.
I had paid for the option to have an in game tombstone located at a spot of my liking.
Due to legal issues over the game engine it was shut down.

Back then Farlan signed Snail Games to distrubute the game in China and work on improving the games graphics.

So since Snail Games is still linked with the new version I would like finally for you guys to pay up and have my Tombstone in Dark and Light.

I paid for it to be in Dark and Light and there was no mention of what version of the game it had to be in.

Surely my little Tomstone with my inscription wouldn't be too hard to include would it?

This game version is also borrowing the same sigil they had in the original.The picture with the bridge in Vardo and the Elf Swerling Architecture is just like in the original game.

Just like Bethesda did sending a free copy of Fallout 4 to the Fan that sent in 2000 bottle caps I think you guys could do this for me in a similair gesture.

LOL...Still waiting for my leather map too :) It was Settlers of Ganereth or something like that. I remember they only sold 10k keys for the SoG and they were sold out super quick. I was one of the 'lucky' ones that paid and lost.
I seriously doubt anything would come out of the previous attempt at release since its a totally different company now.
Wondering if I want to bite twice on this one or just wait to see if it really does get released.
And I guess I should clarify that I am not really waiting on a map lol

Actually it's not a totally different company.Snail Games America is part of Snail Games Entertainment Group.Which was brought in by Farlan Entertainment to help improve the Original game prior to it being closed down.
If you look at the artwork of Vardo in the new game its just a new render of the old games city.Same bridge placed at the same location with same architecture.I had a de ja vu as soon as saw the pic's.

Who knows if the dev's have a sense of humour you might get your map and I my tombstone.

Hey I Betatested it too DandL , it was so much fun to fly Dragons and walk on snowy mountains!

I actually have the original DnL alpha.exe buried away in one of my hard drives somewhere. Worked offline.... might have to find it for a bit of painful nostalgia, haha... sledding down hills was kinda fun tho.

Found my original DnL pioneer preorder... I remember the rush to get in to be the first to snag a copy. Actually ended up being pioneer #1, haha

Haha, nice. I don't remember what my number was, but I remember almost being late for work because I had to hit F5 so many times to be able to get in...I loved jumping off of my dragon and waiting till the last possible minute to open my parachute...

I guess I need to read more. This version isnt going to be an mmo? just an offline single player?

Apparently this version is going to be server wise like Ark Survival.You can play single player or co op.

Yeah, I couldn't F5 fast enough, lol... ended up firing up three computers all refreshing trying to get in. O the memories, haha...

Interesting it's going to be more Ark/Survival like. I could definitely see it working, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

I loved to gli de with dragon over forests and valleys , then reach snowy mountain peaks andò walk in snow ... But the test of the world was pretty empty , but this new version seems great , I hope they will translate in Italiano too.

It was some light hearted Jesting.Never expected after all these years to get my tombstone.Looking forward to seeing how this version plays out.Hopefully this time for Dark and Light things work out for the best.
