Water Elemental - How do I?

So I tamed one, ressed it, placed is on wander in my farm, and chosed to turn on it's water ability. No plots are being irrigated. Any ideas?

they are broken right now and dont water plots, the only thing you can do is drink from them and put magic shards in the inventory they will produce water cores every couple hours.
BUT REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE MAGIC SHARDS BEFOR SERVER RESTARTS IF YOU DONT IT WILL GET BUGGED AND STOP PRODUCING CORES. same with all elements they will get bugged and stop making cores

is that verified that they are still breaking after restart?

suggest removing the inventory and unclaim, reclaim them.

you should always have back up source of watter anyways when water elementals do work they will run out of mana then stop giving plots watter in this time

There is no option to unclaim a water element or wind element and I know its not an element but you cant unclaim a Treant either.

I found the following solution for the sheeps (similar issue): add some additional grass and you are able to restart the process. Maybe this works with the elementals too (with magic shards ofc).

I think they irrigate only large plots unless that got broken again
