Can't craft glass bottles

I just made all the necessary items to build glass bottles so I could make more ammo for my turrets. Low and behold the crafting engram is lit up saying I can craft it, but I click on it and can't select craft all, craft 1, clear que and so on. They're completely disabled.

Craft them in the magic workbench. This is in the patch notes.

Great improvement in my opinion. Although like most software, every change or feature added brings a few bugs. For now, you need to fill them in the rain or in a stream or pond. They won't fill in the water reservoir at the moment.

SO where can we read that they screwed up filling bottles? Mr Weaver Genius? Was that in the patch notes?

Okay slow down I just thought it was a glitch okay wasn't complaining just wanted to know if anyone else was lost. Honestly I haven't been on the game since it first week of release, so there's a lot of new things I'm lost on and I could have written about, but didn't so don't jump the gun. i've played before I don't think the game is terrible, or mega bugged. I know it's EA I'm not stupid, but seriously calm down. Anyone can make a mistake and it doesn't hurt to ask for help, or get someone's decent opinion. As for the two who posted up top thank you for telling me what I needed to know and i appreciate that you acted mature about it.

also Ko_Kat, it wouldn't hurt to take a look at the patch notes every now and then, even if you haven't played in a while. wouldn't be a bad idea to keep yourself up to date on whats going on. :)

I've only been playing this for a day now. I saw I unlocked the schema for glass bottle, and ended up not being able to make it despite having the mats and the schema was lit up. I'm not sure what this Magic Workbench is, or how to even get it...if I can. I'm only level 12. If its something I can't use yet, it seems pretty dumb to give me the schema to make something I can't even make yet.

Ya, they changed it and forgot to remove the old location for where you crafted the bottles.

They probably should let you craft them in both locations. as someone might want to use the bottle for drinking before they have the magic workbench.

If you had been playing the game earlier, you would have know that the main use is with the magic workbench and they had received many requests to change it to craft there.

People should respond with helpful information here or not at all, but hey, this is the internet and some people just like to have fun at other peoples expense, oh well

Yea, that's what I was hoping to use it for. On my friend's server where I'm playing, I was last to join the server so I had to make my house farther from the water hole (lake). Had a few close calls gettin' to it, and maybe a bottle full of water might have been better.

I think someone else mentioned, you can buy a bottle or some focusing potion from a vendor. Once you use the focusing potion, you get an empty bottle that you can fill.

Hopefully they can add crafting the bottles in your inventory too.

I never did think they should be made in your inventory. They should be made in a forge. You can't melt the sand and form bottles in your inventory, thats just silly. Magic work bench? ah ok.
