Triangle Ceiling Trouble
I've been having some trouble placing triangle ceilings. They aren't placing how I want them (Flat) and are instead placing half way down the previously placed ceiling. Albeit this is leaving a neat pattern, it's limiting the usefulness of my rooms. This issue is also happening with walls that are placed on top of triangle ceilings.

build with straw or wood ... then replace in stone .. seems to help

i've also noticed that it depends if you are standing above or below where you are trying to place the tile. however that could just be me getting lucking on the placements too.

I had this problem after the last patch to.I placed a flat roof peace and placed the triangles ontop. It flattens them out.

back up and keep trying. Think Q moves them around as well.

Some of the snap points are totally out. Other than the stone windows are now all out of place, I couldn't replace wooden triangle ceiling pieces with stone because the game isn't allowing it. I also had an entire row of flat roof pieces destroyed while placing a single steeple roof piece. Neither could I climb to the top of ladders any more. Now I keep falling off right at the top instead of climbing onto the flat ceiling piece.

triangle ceilings are useless to me now. Tried all the things that different people here have said here, and none of those options work. There are no shabby triangles as someone said to lay straw or wood but only wood is an option. on top of that, it doesn't flatten them out because the wooden triangles are placeing offset too. Q does nothing. standing above or below - no change at all. flat roof piece didn't work either. I'm afraid using triangles is out for me til they fix this.

Its so bad it makes me want to reinstall Conan just to have the ability to build a NICE looking base.

Yup. We're having the same issue here. Trying to build a new base and our triangles are out of whack.

Yeah I was having same problem. I have a public pvp area on a small island near the volcano that I built a couple of day before the patch that worked absolutely fine. Now I can't get it to work no matter what I do. Thanks for the suggestions though!

there is one way i have found making triangles clip flat. All you have to do is clip it to a normal ceiling, dont clip them to each other or it does that stupid clipping issue your talking about. basicly just clip them to a normal ceiling then make another ceiling on the other side and clip another one to that. problem solved. Still needs fixed and seen to.
