Ice Cave totally unbalanced

Attempted the ice cave with several members today over and over again with absolutely no progress. With multiple people shooting lighting 3's at the yeti's, you couldnt even see a dent in their hp bar. Combine that with the slow effect and high damage and you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. On top of all that, you cant even retreat bc they make you drop down to enter the cave. Pretty sure the developers were in god mode when they decided to shoot the trailer for this patch

Done it was quite hard but it can be done.

How high was your cold resistance? If I may ask. ^^

I just got the Body in rare so far, 288 resistance on it.

But with rare+ Brimstone from vendors, you can combine with other armors or u have to be all brimstone all time? The warm-spell just gives around 120 bonus cold resistance...

with all pieces like that... maybe its enough... but with only one rare and the rest normal (+warm-spell)... i think you cant survice in the cave... are you playing on officiall server? Or was that realy enough cold resistance for the boss? oO

just donated almost 5k .. didnt get much unlocked.. just some grey fur armor

Why waste time and effort doing this for gear that you will not use anyways?

The durability on it will suck and not worth the repair mat costs just like all the other sets of armor in game.

You'll look at your character in it once then store it in a chest with the other junk you don't use. Then go back to wearing the Craftable Leather and drops like you've been doing all along.

I had to have 3k cold resist just to not lose hp while inside the cave -350 in there... dunno how people getting enough cold resist to survive inside without spawned items? Vendors never sells more then uncommon brimstone at least that I have seen in last 2 weeks maybe we have just been unlucky.

ya in SP i made a epic / legend set with 2700 cold resist with fire buff and would start to lose HP at -125 and it just keeps going down. So if any of it breaks gg. Yes you can't melee the ice golem as he will break your sword or hammer in 1 short. Can only use ranged spells. Not sure if the ice cave is working as intended. Best gear I have gotten thus far is 3 rares, chest, hand, boots, he never sells the cape

The tailor-vendor starts selling brimstone stuff at ~14000 donated coins on lvl 8. With higher lvl u have more slots of those items, which results in more chance of getting more rare ones. Next slot is at ~16460 donated coins. More/higher lvl dont worth it for now, only if u want greater soulbound stone (if it still be in the game and buggy) or higher rarity of nonresistence magic armor.

Yeah the boss will be impossible without at least 4 sets of epic/legendary brimstone. He does an aoe attack fairly often that just wrecks your armor as soon as it breaks your dead lol. I just kite the ice golem into the canyon and ignore him.

With enough people and the right gear its possible but its A LOT of work and effort. Might be like the wraiths they seem op at 1st but once you get the right gear/ weapon they are a breeze.

Also many of the cold/ heat resist stats are broken atm so we might need for them to fix it also b4 its possible. I used to have 600 cold/ heat resist with my epic/ legendary leather set b4 the patch that broke resists so there is also that.

SHould be a challenge this is a end game dungeon with the best gear in the game. We could be missing something as well maybe we need upgrade armor with cold resists using the new forge system... is alot of unknowns still b4 I can make a final judgement on it.

We have level 14 vendor and I have never seen better then uncommmon brimstone only has 2 sets of each but maybe we just been unlucky.
