Best creature for gathering?
What is, in YOUR opinion, the best creature for gathering? So far the Elephant is kicking butt and chewing bubble gum for me. Wood for DAYS same with hay and grass for my fertilizer. Loving this thing. It's only lvl 40 but has 846 weight XD.

It's especially nice because it's getting me back all my knowledge levels I lost when my game bugged out super fast.

Longhorn is good for early game gathering.

Longhorn < Kodo < Elephant < Bahamut < Colossus

I've only tested up to the bahamut though.

Go to volcano island, get a L120 Bahamut, tame it and get it to walk under the water back to the main island (they do not drown if no one is riding them)

Never have to have another gathering pet again, it will do everything and better then everything else cause its attacks are an AOE (but will also hit other creatures around them) and gather everything around them.

I generally take my Bahamut out with a few Panthers in tow as mules and backup, due to the Bahamut's weird hit radius.

I tamed a low lvl bahamut but any idea on an estimated tame time on a 100+?

Depends on the food used. 21 Herbivore Feed/kibble it takes less than 2 hours for a 120. Anything else is going to take considerably longer. 10-12 hours at least using just apples.

Think you quoted the wrong one xD but in any case.. you sure it was only 21 O.o On official or private?

Ever looked one in the eyes while taming it? Kinda makes you feel sorry for it.

It can also vary too, though I seriously doubt that big of a swing (21 to 70). As in the same type of creature at the same level, one can tame using say 30 Kibble, another 20. Not sure what stat exactly affects this, but is something I've definitely noticed.

As for what server was I on when I did this, hmm, must have been a private server tbh. Not 100% sure as I play on a few.

No it cannot vary. If u need 70 kibble for a 120 baha, then every 120 baha takes same amount .
