Infernus dragon respawn

Ever since the spawning rate of the infernus has been reduced only 1 dragon or sometimes not even 1 spawns on dragon island. It has been 12 hours for me on the official server and the infernus still did not respawn. My carnivore feed that took me a while to make is about to spoil (as i made some to tame one). I hope they will increase the spawn rate again.

Just use raw fine meat, you cant prepare it but it easier to get and gives just a little less than the carnivores feed.

Put your carni feed in an ice imp, it increase spoil rate by 50x

Yea we did fine raw meat the other day but flying to volcano island and back is alot of work as i tried it before. Kiting it to volcano island is kinda dangerous with all the fire imps and the infernus getting distracted so easily. If i put the carno feed in something like a preserving bin and take it out the timer goes back to normal.

I just went to get the fine meat from the volcano, it's not that far and the timers are longer when in the feeding trough.

Im on official and needed about 100+ fine meat. Took about 2 hours. To tame but i got back with about 5 meat back each...

wanna ask.. 100+ fine meat for what level infernus? did you use iron hook ? i tried use stone hook last time but I can hooked it.. how many arrow you need? thank you..

Infurnus Dragons and the spiders on the island all share the same spawn zone. Dragons there have a higher spawn priority code though so when you kill the spiders the dragons will spawn.

This was an old post. I'm sure they changed the amount of food needed after one of the patches. I haven't tamed an infernus after the "harder taming" patch. Also stone hook does not work on dragons or Mythical creatures, iron only. Be sure to take atleast 100 iron hooked arrows now for one.
