We just tamed 2 lvl 60 ice dragons they both took 3 hrs to tame, a lvl 60 inferno dragon took 2 hrs to tame on oficial server eu knight 14, just use prime meat you can find in the area like the yetis or other dragons around

The dragons are kinda broken and do sub par dmg, elementals are stronger and more usefull, our panther does more dmg then the dragon and can cary more, the only benefit they have is the +- 18k hp at those lvls

might be worth investing in carnivore/mythical food for sure

and how many hook arrows you used?

We used 3 ppl to shoot them down with about 20-30 arrows per person

we tamed infernus lvl 104 with 2 ppl, of course we died several times but managed to get him down..
i suggest luring the infernus to the back of volcano where mythril nodes is.
build little base 2x2 with couple resurrection altar"made it so much easier to get back and volcano provide bahamut for easy fine meat"..
took us roughly 3 hours+-to tame with 80% fine meat..
