Which 'pets' are for what
Tried searching for wiki's etc but can't find any info on it.

Anyone have a list of what pets are good for gathering what? And what their preferred food is for best and fastest taming?

It appears Herbivores prefer
Grass < Berries < Apple < Lucky Clover < Herbivore Feed

And for normal Carnivores
Cooked Meat < Raw Meat < Raw Fine Meat < Carnivore Feed

But some have special ones like the Vrock & Bargesh who prefers rotten meat

Sheep = Fur (just feed them grass)
Boar = Good for farming seed and mushrooms
Treant = Your crops grow faster if near the Treant
Kebo = Mining rocks (Bonus stone and iron etc)
Bahamut = Mining rocks (Better then Kebo)
Elephants = Bonus Wood, Grass, Berries
LongHorn = Bonus straw
Grut Stag = Bonus Twine and Grass
Bargesh = Bonus Hide, Bones and meat
Panther = Not as good per hit as a Bargesh but faster and more hp so better over all
Ice Imp = 50x rot timer (acts as a fridge)
Fire Imp = Walking Forge/Fireplace/Lightsource
Water Imp = Waters your crops

link to stats here (not my data)

If you want to admin summon your own monsters to test

The command to summon a L120 sheep is below
admincheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/DarkAndLight/object/Monster/Sheep/Sheep_Character_BP.Sheep_Character_BP'" 0 0 0 120

Full list of all creatures found here
http://www.en.magicgameworld.com/dark-and-light-creatures-id-list/
Just replace the names found here into the summon command above to summon what ever you want and whatever level you want to test
Or just look on your own PC in the DnL directory to get the names to spawn.

But the Longhorn does not get any appear to get a 'bonus' when gathering wood, the Longhorn just appear to be a general gatherer. I am looking for one that gets more wood per tree then you would if you harvest it normally. The Kebo gets more stone from a rock then you do when you harvest it manually. There should be a pet that does that with wood if the dev's followed the design from Ark and as DnL uses as a base code, I was guessing there was a 'wood' gathering pet out there. Anyone tamed an elephant yet?

Stag is good for gettin grass(for makin fertilizer).

Bargesh is good for gathering Hide.

Most these creatures "Pets" have similarities to the work dinos of Ark.

This is so great! Thanks for making this post.

I am curious about the Treant. I am so happy to learn that they are tameable. Has anyone tried to tame one yet? Are they difficult?
I love the idea that they help our crops to grow.
Funny thing... when I first started playing the game, when I first saw the treants, I didn't cut down any trees around them, for the longest time, because I was afraid they would attack me. Hahahaha

beat the piss out of them and use a soul suppress stone, or use 100ish hooks to bring it down and feed it essence
