If you dont keep them fertilised, the plant will die off and you will have to replant.
It is worth planting 2 or more crops of the required flowers for the feed. One is just not enough, as i have just discoverd. Leave the flowers in the plot until you have enough, they spoil far too quick once removed and can not be put back in.
Try to have a stock pile of fertiliser before you plant to try and keep ahead for now, hopefully the timers will be reduced at some point so you are not constantly watching the plots.
I have 4 compost bins on the go. One making small fertiliser, one making medium and 2 making large.
I also have fires burning making charcoal and a couple of chests with meat in to spoil.
Find what works for you though as i am on a private server and dont have to worry about anything happening when i am not there.
Good luck and happy farming.
This is brilliant. Thanks. And thanks to everyone else
That being said i do like that fert is made the way it is but perhaps the bins slot size should be revised as well considering the resources required to make just 1 large fert muchless anything else, though praying there is a workshop added at some point because a stacking mod would be a god send for the small slot sizes in game currently.
Thank you very much for the info! :D
