Dedicated Linux Servers

wondering from the devs if linux servers will be in the pipeline? (please?) Would help a few of us who run linux boxes out a lot! Thanks!

+1 for linux, i'm using virtualbox atm, but sucks to waste resources, and windows seriously is a pain to manage (rdp wtf)

wine ore VB is just not an option, if they could have Ark Linux binaries, it should not be hard to compile them for DnL.. I want to run DnL on my own server for my friends, but currently can't because of the lack of Linux support.And I feel a lot of people with me are in the same boat, wanting to host for their friends, but just can't because of the limitation of windows for server. To be clear, we are not asking for full linux desktop support (yet) but just running a Server on it would do for now.

Any word yet on the possibility of a Linux server? I really want to host a game for my friends so we can all join up rather then just play on LAN with 1 of them, while I'm online running the server on the same machine as I play on.. *yay for 16 threads*. But I have my server to host games 24/7 not my desktop. This really needs Linux server support to help out a lot of people that host for friends.

I'm in the same boat, really annoying when the people I play with span 3 different time zones and I have a dedicated box sitting there ready to host this 24/7.

We know eactly what you mean, we span from California to Amsterdam and need our own server up.

We need linux support asap. I am part of a multi game survival community and we are trying to set up community servers ons multiple games. Many of us having got DnL are wanting to have a DnL server for our community, and have not been wanting to invest the time into playing DnL on other servers just to go play on our own.

However our server is linux. WE NEED LINUX SUPPORT! other wise we might just not play DnL and I am sure there are many others in the same situation.

Sitting in the same boat here aswell. Already hosting a Rust server on my machine and I'd really like to host a DnL server instance on it aswell, so I can play with my friends only. Linux support is needed, atleast for the server instances.
