Stone Hook Arrow bug?

Hi, I keep running into an issue with hook arrows where i will fire one and it uses the arrow but it doesn't recognise I've used it, it instantly snaps without letting me pin it and adds no constitution to tames when they are already pinned, it does this no matter how close to the tame I am. I've re-logged, changed bows, made new arrows and nothing has fixed the issue. It's becoming a big issue for taming.

Same for me, Is this a general bug, Seems the mini ingame popups are bugged, I dont get the option to pin the arrow, and a similar bug to the billboard for King Selection

if this happens check your weight. If you're overweight you cannot place a hook down and the line instantly breaks without Constitution damage done.

Yup i can confirm this, Lower your weight and the arrows work

I have 400 weight and only take 2 bows and 100 arrows out taming with me and have the rest of my stuff on my griffin, so I'm never ovverweight when taming animals as i need to be able to run, so this isn't the issue in my case

It's the only known way for them to automatically never work unless you're too far away from it.

It's not just me it's happened to either, has happened to the host of my server too. It's weird, you can tranq out an animal and then pop the food in the trough and half way through your arrows no longer register/work. Happens quite frequently for no known reason yet. As I originally said I can be stood right on them and the arrows wont register, so range isn't the issue either.

I can confirm the weight thing. I don't think it's about being over your weight limit though but rather a limit for the tame.

It does seem unusual though if you only literally have bows and arrows. You wearing heavy armor or something? Have six in your alt Hotbar you've forgotten about

No I'm wearing the Hunter set which is practically weightless and I never use my seconary bar, theres nothing on it.
